ASRAT is a brand of ASARPI, which provides socially responsible destination travel experiences to African countries, communities, and institutions. Focused on Americans and others outside and within the continent of Africa, who are interested in authentic, mutually sharing, and empowering experiences, rather than the usual commercial lines of tourism in Africa.

ASRAT is thereby monitored and evaluated through an ASARPI study-practice group composed of socially responsible tourism experts, accommodation, socially responsible activities, and transportation. It aims to change the perception of how outsiders view the African continent and its people, and how Africans view outsiders.
